Titleist Approach
Titleist Ball Fitting is about finding the best ball to lower your score. The golf ball is the only piece of equipment golfers use on all shots so its important to use the ball that will react best of all 14 clubs.
Titleist ball fitting methodology is based on "Green to Tee" fitting. Additionally, the data shows that players can best lower their scores by hitting more greens in regulation and getting 3rd or 4th shots closer on greens that are missed. So while fitting the ball to the driver is important; it's more important to play a ball that will enable a player to get closer with their approach shots.
During the Ball Van visit players will have an opportunity to hit some shots on the Track Man monitor to evaluate launch and spin with irons (and driver). There is a short game component to ball fitting as well. Each player will then receive a recommendation and sampling of two ball types to then take out on the course to test on their own.
This is a unique opportunity to go through the same process that the Titleist Tour Professional's experience that could most benefit the amateur player.
The ball fittings will be scheduled between 12 - 6 P.M. One must register to be fitted. Registration is taken in the Golf Shop. ">7/13 Titleist Golf Ball Fitting -
